Musical theatre audition techniques
Tuesdays | 4:00 - 6:00pm
Acting, Singing, and Dancing! These three skills are what make a well-rounded musical theatre performer. In this 12-week intensive, students will learn fundamental acting, and singing. Students will learn a solo from a musical as well as a monologue from a play and will work over the semester to turn both into an audition cut that they could use for any future audition!
"This is an 'intensive' style class meaning work will have to be done outside of our scheduled class time in order to achieve all that needs to be accomplished before the end of the semester. Each student will have to memorize a song and monologue (each under 2 minutes) on their own time outside of class to be worked on in class. By signing your student up for this class, you are agreeing that those outside responsibilities will be accomplished and understand that if they are not, your student will not have anything to work on in class and may not have a place in the final showcase performance."
