Seussical Jr. is a lively musical journey into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, following Horton the Elephant as he discovers the tiny planet of Who-ville. Facing ridicule, Horton vows to protect its inhabitants, including the spirited Jojo. Along the way, he encounters beloved Seussian characters and learns valuable lessons about friendship and self-belief. Through catchy songs and heartwarming moments, Seussical Jr. celebrates the power of loyalty and embracing one's uniqueness.

Seussical is a magical world where books come alive, and the Dr. Seuss characters that we all know and love teach important lessons like “a person’s a person no matter how small” and “anything’s possible”. It is a story that is great for all ages to be transported to another world and have a fantastical time because that is what theater is about, right? This educational theater experience is a stepping-stone for young actors to get their first experience on stage performing as well as getting young theatergoers interested in the arts. Our goal is to create a positive first experience at the theater, to insight a passion for the arts in the next generation, and to continue a flourishing artistic community in Pensacola or wherever you end up. Pensacola Little Theatre is the perfect place to learn more about the arts and let your creative side run free.
