Incorruptible is a dark comedy set in 13th-century France, where the Catholic Church holds immense power and influence. The play revolves around the struggling monastery of Saint Foy, whose monks are desperate to attract pilgrims and funding. Facing financial ruin and a lack of miracles to draw visitors, the monks hatch a scheme to create their own miracle by stealing a corpse and passing it off as a holy relic. However, their plans take unexpected and hilarious turns as they encounter deception, rivalry, and moral dilemmas. As the lines between good and evil blur, the monks must confront the consequences of their actions and decide what truly defines faith and righteousness.
